Seit kurzem steht die zweite Beta-Version von iOS 6 für Entwickler per OTA-Update (over the air) und auch im Entwickler-Portal zum Download bereit.
Durchschnittlich 300 Megabyte wiegt iOS 6 Beta 2 (Build 10A5338d) und bringt mehrheitlich Bugfixes mit. Erstmals zeigt sich auch ein animiertes Zahnräder-Icon im Zuge des Update-Downloads.

Just yesterday, I finally moved the Google+ iPhone app atrocity to the back screen of my iPhone, and then the company goes out and does this. It makes the darned thing all pretty with a fresh update. And maybe even more usable? (I cant confirm this as the update has somehow not hit my iPhones Updates section, but early reports are saying nice things).

Für viele stellt sich eigentlich gar nicht mehr die Frage ob Apple mit dem iPhone 5 wieder einen “Rekord im Abspecken” hinlegen wird. Es soll, so die Erwartungen und auch das eine oder andere Gerücht, noch dünner werden als das 9,3 mm dicke iPhone 4S. Kameramodule können mit solchen Reduktionen aber nur schwer mithalten.
