Der App Store ist einer der Dreh- und Angelpunkte für den Erfolg einer mobilen Plattform. Bestes Beispiel dürfte der iTunes Store von Apple sein, der allgemein hin als Vorbild für die Verzahnung von Smartphone, Tablet und Inhalte gilt. Der offene Gegenspieler ist dabei Google mit seinem Play Store und eben jener Play Store hat jüngst eine Überarbeitung der Richtlinien für Entwickler erhalten.
