In all den Jahren hatte Flash allerdings zunehmend mit Sicherheitslöchern und hohem Ressourcenhunger zu kämpfen, weshalb Flash am Aussterben ist. Zumindest für die Mobilplattformen hat Adobe die Weiterentwicklung eingestellt.
